History & Specifications of Jaguar XKE
The Jaguar XK-E series I is a British sports car. It was made from 1961-1968. This car was known for its good looks and high performance. This car was originally only for export in March 1961 but later was sold domestically in July 1961. The Series I first had a 3.8-litre six cylinder Jaguar XK6 engine but was later increased to 4.2 litres in October 1964. The car reached a top speed of 150 mph. The Series I could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7 seconds. The car could reach a maximum of 5500 rpm. The Series I is a very beautiful and speedy car.
