1972 Lamborghini Espada Series II with Coachwork by Carrozzeria Bertone

This 1972 Lamborghini Espada Series II is an excellent original car in need of complete restoration. Red with black interior. Just out of long term ownership. It's been sitting for many years and is not currently running. An original and complete car but it has rust. Like the Miura, Lamborghini s Espada was considered a bold and unique automobile when it was introduced. It was intended to meet customers desires for a four-seater in the lineup, and it certainly didn t compromise in regard to performance. Combining practicality with V-12 power, it quickly proved to be Lamborghini s most successful model at the time. Introduced in January 1970, the faster Series II cars came with an extra 25bhp, an improved dashboard layout, and the option of power assisted steering. Even today there are few cars that can match the Espada's on-road presence.
