The last big Panhard to adopt the complex, smooth-running Knight sleeve-valve engine, and, indeed, the last Knight-powered automobile manufactured anywhere in the world, was the sleek Dynamic, which was introduced in 1936. The car was designed by Louis Bionier, and it featured a seductive, streamlined design, which had shielded headlights that blended into full-figured wings, half-covered wheels, and an unusual triple-pane windshield with three wipers. It was the first French luxury car to feature steel monocoque bodywork, and in its initial form, it even had a centre-mounted steering wheel.
